Web page!

I finished my web page today, and I like it pretty well. I kept the same theme as the page I created for my grandparents, because I like it quite a lot. When something works, stick with it.

I showed it to my son, who is in high school, and he said it was good. High praise and I'll take it- he's my best critic! If I really need to know how I look, I ask him. He doesn't lie, but he's kind.

I did not include all the work I've done for this course, I'm going to put that together in a portfolio using Prezi - I hope. If it works - otherwise, I will probably create a pdf. Not terrifically exciting, but I can get creative.

I'd like to use this web page as a supplement to my resume when it's time... I'll probably update it before then, and keep tweaking it.

Website

I have been working on the website, which is an extension page of my http://www.stephreads.com site, and although I haven't uploaded anything it's coming along. I'm still wanting to make it a "showcase" page that I can point library directors to -so I want to include my book blog (http://www.steph-reads.blogspot.com) and my podbean site, as well as the flyer I created for this course, but possibly NOT that dreadful About Me powerpoint. I might want to make a MUCH more professional one of those.

Web page

I'm having a lot of trouble deciding what I want on this web page- Good thing I didn't go into sales, I'm terrible at selling myself even, the one product I should know best, and be able to say at least one or two good things about!

I really don't know what one would look for in a web page about a candidate for a public librarian. I feel as though I could be jack and master of all - anything they want, I can be, but how to present that?

I wonder if ALA might have something for me- a kickstart, so to speak.
